Mardi Gras Parade & Pancake Supper 2023
Laissez les bon temps rouler indeed!
Our church family had so much fun walking through The Square here in Downtown Oxford with our friends and neighbors from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. We had a great turnout of families and members and our parade stretched down the block! The Oxford community showed up in droves, both on the sidewalks and on balconies above, to celebrate with us and catch our throws!
After we made the Oxford Square loop, we returned home to the Fellowship Hall where a delicious pancake supper awaited us! We dug into sausage and pancakes with all the toppings and enjoyed a wonderful celebration as a church community.
All in all it was a delightful way to spend the evening of Mardi Gras.
We now enter into Lent as a church, ready to welcome all that this new season will bring.
