Christian discipleship is a life-long process for all Christians. Our Christian education ministry seeks to provide enriching opportunities for the strengthen of our faith. To that end, we offer several adult Sunday School classes, which meet Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:40 am as well as other events throughout the year. Members and visitors are welcome to any of these events.

Other Opportunities for Education & Fellowship

Wednesdays Together, a congregational gathering, provides an opportunity each fall for all ages to enjoy food, fellowship and learning together. Supper is served at 5:30 pm followed by programs for children, youth and adults.

Adult Bible studies are offered in the fall and spring. Currently, we have our fall bible study going on. We are studying Words of Love: A Healing Journey with the Ten Commandments by Eugenia Anne Gamble. This study is lead by Carey Blackerby Hanson on Fridays at 12:00 pm in the upstairs conference room. The bible study is also available via zoom. Please see our weekly Fast Facts for the link, or contact the church office.

Bibles with Brews is a regular bible study where young adults gather to read God’s Word. Each session has a “theme” and individuals are encouraged to bring a scripture passage to share. Bibles with Brews occurs on the first and third Wednesday of the month, except from the summer months May through August.

Presbyterian Women meet in small groups known as circles once a month for Bible study, fellowship and mission. All women are invited to participate. Call the church office to find the time that suits you best.

The Men’s Prayer Breakfast meets at The Beacon Restaurant each Tuesday morning at 6:00 am.

VIPs (Very Important Presbyterians) are FPC’s 50+ group. They meet monthly for a variety of activities, outings and programs.
