Coming together in fellowship is an important aspect of our faith life at First Presbyterian Church, Oxford. Members and friends deepen the bonds of Christian friendship over good food, lots of laughter and making fun memories together. Join us for:

Wednesdays Together:   On designated Wednesdays in the spring and fall, FPC gathers for an evening meal followed by programs for all ages. Supper is served at 5:30 pm followed by  programming for all ages to follow at 6:00 pm. We are thrilled to welcome our very own Kristina Carlson as the leader of our upcoming program! Kristina is the author of Outrageous Kindness… A Mindset, A Method, A Movement, and she will guide us through an engaging four-week study on how kindness can be practiced in everyday life—and in extraordinary moments.

VIPs: FPC’s members and friends who are 50+ enjoy dinners at local restaurants, progressive dinners, appetizer suppers, trips, service projects and other activities. See below for the spring 2026 VIP Schedule.

Mardi Gras Parade and Pancake Supper:  FPC members join our neighbors from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for a Mardi Gras parade around the Square followed by a pancake supper in Fellowship Hall.

Summer Lunches: During the summer, we have a month dedicated to congregational lunches after worship. We gather in the Fellowship Hall for food and fellowship.

Hallowed Hopewell:  All ages enjoy the fun of Halloween by joining us at Camp Hopewell! All are invited to trick-or-treat through camp. Enjoy hot chocolate, hotdogs, and fun for the whole family!

Christmas Caroling:  Old and young alike share Christmas cheer by caroling throughout the community and on the square.

These are just some of the opportunities for fun and fellowship at FPC! Be sure to check the newsletters and Sunday bulletins for news of other events as they occur and contact the church office for more details.
